General notes on 418 Lodge events:


   1.  Gnostic Masses are held at the Meral building in Sacramento unless otherwise noted.  Please contact the lodge secretary if you need the address or directions.

   2.  Gnostic Masses are generally open to the public unless otherwise noted.  Rarely, we have a private Mass (which will be clearly labeled as such on the calendar).

   3.  Initiations are of course private events; attendance is limited to dues-current members at or above the degree in question.

   4.  Business meetings are open to all dues-current members of First Degree and up.

   5.  Classes may be public or private, as noted.  Most classes are held in midtown Sacramento, at 2620 J Street, second floor, office #2.



September 2010


Saturday, 9/11:  Class:  Dreamwork and the Magical Path, presented by Brother David.  Dreams are one of the most important gateways to understanding and creating a dialogue with the unconscious mind.  In this class, you will learn techniques of Jungian dream analysis, and tools for applying dreamwork to the path of personal and spiritual development known as Magick.2620 J Street, 2nd floor, office #2; 5 pm.  Open to all.


Sunday, 9/12:  First and Second Degree Initiations!  Officers will arrive at 11 am to prepare.  Attending initiates will arrive at 2 pm; Second Degree candidates will arrive at 2:30 pm.  Attending initiates will arrive at 8 pm; First Degree candidate will arrive at 8:30 pm.    Note that the Second Degree initiations will be performed first, all present at the Seconds are encouraged to stay for the Firsts.  Attendance limited to those of the appropriate degree and up.


Sunday, 9/19:  Gnostic Mass will begin at 7:30 pm (arrive between 7 pm and 7:30 pm).  Mass officers will arrive at 5 pm to prepare.  Team:  R & M.  Soror Meral building; open to all.


October 2010


Sunday, 10/3:  Minerval Initiations.  Officers will arrive at 2 pm to prepare.  Initiates will arrive at 3:30 pm; candidates at 4 pm.  Open to initiates only (and candidates).


Saturday, 10/9:  Class:  Darkness and the Shadow, presented by Sister Anna.  Many interested in the occult are at once drawn by and repulsed by the shadow.  How does Thelema understand and work with these concepts?  2620 J Street, 2nd floor, office #2; 5 pm.  Open to all.


Sunday, 10/17:  Quarterly Lodge business meeting, 4 pm.  Open to initiates of First Degree and up.  Soror Meral building.

Saturday, 11/13:  Class:  Introduction to the Magical Kabbalah, presented by Brother David.  The ancient system of mysticism and magick known as Kabbalah is a powerful tool for spiritual growth and self-understanding.  In this class, you will learn the fundamental concepts of Kabbalah, with a special focus on their role in the spiritual teachings  of Aleister Crowley2620 J Street, 2nd floor, office #2; 5 pm.  Open to all.
